Terms of use

Mouichido is a Japanese learning product: lessons, practice, reading, capture cards and Free Talk (chat and voice) on the web and iOS.

You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the service.

Keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or harm the service.

Pro is a paid subscription. The price, currency, billing period and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid the next charge; cancellation normally leaves access available until the end of the paid period.

Manage or cancel web subscriptions through RevenueCat Billing from your Mouichido billing settings. Cancel Apple App Store subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting your Mouichido account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel with Apple first.

AI features have usage limits. Any optional AI credit purchase is separate from your subscription; the amount and price are shown before purchase.

For a billing problem or refund request for a web purchase, contact <H1 mailbox>. Request App Store refunds through Apple. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Use Free Talk and other features for personal language learning. Do not abuse the service, attempt to extract provider keys, harass others, or use the product to generate harmful content.

Free Talk replies, corrections, narration and recognition can be wrong. Do not rely on them as professional, legal or medical advice. Check important Japanese with a qualified human when it matters.

Your Free Talk partner and card recognition are AI systems. Mouichido describes the services and data they receive in the privacy policy and in-app AI permission sheet. Under Settings → AI features, you can review or withdraw your saved choice. Word search and saving words still send the word to OpenAI for search embeddings when AI features are off.

You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Mouichido a limited license to host, process and display that content only as needed to run and improve the service for you, including sending it to the processors named in the privacy policy.

You may delete your account in settings. We then delete or anonymize learner data as described in the privacy policy, subject to the retention exceptions there. We may end access if you breach these terms.

These terms are governed by <H1 governing law>, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction hear disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live.
